What can I put in an Orange Bin?
The 5 yard bins are used for dirt or rock, concrete, asphalt & bricks.
The 12 and 16 yard bins can be used for construction waste, garbage & household junk.
Are there different sizes of Orange Bins?
Orange Bins offers : 5 yard bin, 10 yard bin, 12 yard bin, 16 yard bin, 18 yard bin and 20 yard bin rentals.
How long can I keep the Orange Bin?
- 5 yard mini bin rentals include a 2 day rental.
- 10, 12, 16, 18 and 20 yard bin rentals include a 7 day rental.
Are there extra charges if I keep the bin longer?
Yes, 35.00 per day. We ask that the bin is filled up as quick as possible.
How and when do I pay for my Orange Bin rental?
Orange Bins requires a Visa or MasterCard at the time of booking the bin rental.
Can the Orange Bin be placed on the street?
Orange Bins can be placed on the street. Some cities require a permit and it is up to the customer to contact their city hall and obtain one at time of drop off. Any fines for not getting a street permit will be charged to credit card. Here are some cities to check with: City of North Vancouver, District of North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, New Westminster, and Richmond.
What can't go into an Orange Bin?
Orange Bins does not accept hazardous wastes, asbestos, contaminated dirt or anything illegal. Drywall can't be mix in garbage loads. For more info of what is not accepted at the local transfer stations please go to www.wastech.ca.
Can I fill the Orange Bin over the top?
We have level load only stickers clearly marked on all our bins. Safety is very important, so please do not overfill the bin. If the bin is overloaded or unsafe the driver will refuse to pick it up and extra charges will apply.
